We are launching a fun new monthly event at Culmination Brewing – Intro to Craft Beer!

If you are craft beer curious this is the event for you! 

During this fast paced one-hour session you will get answers to the following questions:

  • What is craft beer?

  • What is an IPA?

  • Can I be a craft beer fan if I don’t like IPAs?

  • What is the difference between a craft beer fan a craft beer geek and a craft beer elite?

  • How is craft beer made?

  • What are the four (or is it five) main ingredients comprising craft beer?

  • What kind of flavor profiles can you find in find craft beer?

  • How many different styles of craft beer are there?

  • What are the most popular styles of craft beer?

Cost and Details 

This event cost $10 and includes a tour of the Culmination brewery, 4 each 5 oz pours of beer, one 9 oz pour of beer, snacks, and two coupons each good for 16 oz pours of Culmination beer during a future visit  to our tap room.

The hosts for our Intro to Craft Beer event are passionate craft beer fans Troy Powell and Steven Shomler.

Troy is the Founder of the Enthused 4 Brews craft beer website, and he is part of the team at 13th Moon Brouwerij an innovative Portland, Oregon craft brewery. 

Steven is the General Manager at Culmination Brewing, Author of Portland Beer Stories: Behind the Scenes with the City's Craft Brewers, and the Founder & Host of the Craft Beer Podcast.
